The leather for Phantom is carefully selected from Bavarian bulls. Due to the absence of barbed wire fences in Bavaria, Bavarian bulls are preferred, as they do not have stretch marks from pregnant cows. To minimize waste, each leather piece is scanned by eye, then marked out and cut by laser. The leather is then stained all the way through so that it will retain its desired color even if scratched or marked.

This Rolls-Royce interior uses some of the finest veneers in the world to create an interior that is exquisite and breathtaking. As Rolls-Royce craftsmen in Goodwood use their unmatched skills to create a mirror image, they ensure that the figuring and grain on the left of any veneered panel are exactly the same as those on the right. In this way, each Rolls-Royce is unique and individual.
